chimney investigation
Damage caused to a chimney stack when condensation forms. This is due to a combination of the incorrect use of wood and a poorly insulated chimney.

It is essential to utilise the appropriate approved equipment during a technical visit:
  • Draught gauges for checking chimney draw capability.
  • Digital thermometer for setting up of heating system for maximum efficiency.
  • Core Ball gauges for core testing of chimneys to BS6461.
  • Equipment to soundness test a chimney to BS 6461.
  • Carbon Monoxide (CO) monitoring equipment to provide print out of CO levels in a given room.
  • Presentation equipment for training.
